紗／SUZU「number excursions」

古代文字（甲骨文字）を描いてきた紗（SUZU）は、より文字が生き物として体現できるよう魅せたいと考え、平仮名、漢字、カタカナ・ローマ字、また数字を入れた新たな表現を試みます。

数字と文字は別物のように感じるが、これまでの私たち人間の行いを記録してきた
ものとしては同様である。数を記録するために記されてきたが、現時点のものを残していくものとしてだけでなく、今後どのように進んでいくか未来を示唆するものとして存在するようになった。
私たちはこれからどのよう歩んでいくのだろう。「回」の甲骨文字をベースに2024年の干支である龍と今後の展開に期待を込めて数字たちを認めた。

Having painted ancient scripts (Osteograms), SUZU wants to make them more like living creatures, and will experiment with new expressions using hiragana, kanji, katakana, romaji, and numbers.

Numbers and letters seem to be two different things, but they are the same in that they record what we humans have done in the past.
However, they are the same in the sense that they have been used to record our actions. Although written to record numbers, they have come to exist not only as a record of the present, but also as a suggestion of the future, of how we will move forward.
How will we move forward in the future? Based on the carapace character for "times," the dragon, the Chinese zodiac sign for the year 2024, and the numbers were chosen in anticipation of future developments.
