紗／SUZU「excursions No.1」

古代文字（甲骨文字）を描いてきた紗（SUZU）は、より文字が生き物として体現できるよう魅せたいと考え、平仮名、漢字、カタカナ・ローマ字、また数字を入れた新たな表現を試みます。

私たちの身体から発する言葉や行為が文字となり、当初は自身の手を見て数を記録
していた数字。どちらも初めは自身の身体が原点であり、私たちの身体から生み出されたものである。私は文字も数字も生きているように感じていて、手を広げてみると文字や数字が身体から出ていくような感覚に捉われることがある。元は身体の一部であったものがそれぞれ形として現実に存在し始めた。ぜひそれぞれのキューブに描かれた手形に手を当てて見て体現してほしい。

Having painted ancient scripts (Osteograms), SUZU wants to make them more like living creatures, and will experiment with new expressions using hiragana, kanji, katakana, romaji, and numbers.

Words and actions from our bodies become letters, and numbers are initially recorded by looking at our own hands.
The numbers were initially recorded by looking at our own hands. Both originated from our own bodies and were created by our bodies. I feel that both letters and numbers are alive, and when I open my hands, I sometimes feel as if the letters and numbers are leaving my body. Each thing that was originally a part of our body has begun to exist in reality as a form. I invite you to put your hands on the handprints on each cube, look at them, and embody them.
