モチーフは旧帝国海軍駆逐艦「雪風」が戦後武装解除し、外地にいた人々を国内に帰還させるために居住区を増設した復員輸送艦時代の姿である。
素材は、雪風が復員輸送艦として改造を受け、活動した昭和20年12月から昭和21年12月までの朝日・毎日新聞他、を複数使用。
タイトルのDecember 28, 1946.（昭和21年12月28日）は雪風の復員輸送艦任務の終了の日付である。

1988年横須賀市生まれ。
2014年東京造形大学美術学科彫刻専攻卒業、東京造形大学卒業研究・卒業制作展「ZOKEI賞」受賞。

The motif is the former Imperial Navy destroyer Yukikaze disarmed after the war, and was a demobilization transport ship that added living quarters to return those who had been in foreign lands to Japan.
The material used in the film is from several newspapers, including Asahi and Mainichi Shimbun from December 1945 to December 1946, when Yukikaze was converted as a demobilized transport ship and was active in the war.
The title “December 28, 1946.” is the date of the end of Yukikaze's demobilization carrier mission.


Atsushi Adachi　
Born in Yokosuka, Japan in 1988.
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2014, majoring in sculpture, and received the “ZOKEI Prize” at the Tokyo Zokei University Graduation Research and Graduation Works Exhibition.
