竜族の頂点として伝承されてきた八大龍王。難陀龍王(ナンダリュウオウ)は海上の守護者として漁師に信仰されてきた。跋難陀龍王(ウパナンダリュウオウ)とは兄弟の龍王とされている。
文献を読み解きながらドローイングに起こしていくため、スタイルが変化していきますがこれは天獣である龍と絡めたバージョン。

The eight great dragon kings have been handed down from generation to generation as the top of the dragon tribe. Nandaryuwu has been worshipped by fishermen as a guardian of the seas. He is said to be a brother of Upanandaryuwu.
The style of this work changes as I read the literature and make drawings, but this is a version that is intertwined with the dragon, a celestial beast.
