飛天（ひてん）とは仏教で諸仏の周囲を飛行遊泳し、礼賛する天人。
仏像の周囲（側壁や天蓋）に描写されることが多い。
この作品のシリーズにおいては、宇治の平等院鳳凰堂にある雲中供養菩薩をベースとした新作。
年々新しくなる素材を研究しながら、それぞれの神、神獣の独自の細部にこだわり造形しています。

The Eight Great Dragon Kings have been handed down as the pinnacle of the dragon race. Anavataptaryuwu, also translated as Seiryō, is a dragon king of the feminine gender. He is said to reside in a mythical pond in the Himalayas, from which water flows to moisten the continent.
The style changes as I read the literature and make drawings, but this is a version intertwined with the dragon, a celestial beast.
