素材は1949年発行のLIFE誌の当時の世界情勢の記事を使用。モチーフはアメリカで最初に宇宙へ行った猿の「Albert II (アルバート２世)」。宇宙服は当時実験されていた試作の宇宙服をモチーフに、実際に猿が着て宇宙へ行くことを考えながら制作。


足立篤史　
1988年横須賀市生まれ。
2014年東京造形大学美術学科彫刻専攻卒業、東京造形大学卒業研究・卒業制作展「ZOKEI賞」受賞。

The material used is an article on world affairs of the time from LIFE magazine published in 1949. The motif is “Albert II,” the first American monkey to go into space. The space suit is based on a prototype space suit that was being experimented with at the time, and was created with the idea of a monkey actually going into space wearing it.


Atsushi Adachi　
Born in Yokosuka, Japan in 1988.
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2014, majoring in sculpture, and received the “ZOKEI Prize” at the Tokyo Zokei University Graduation Research and Graduation Works Exhibition.
