素材は1940年開催予定であった東京オリンピックの返上を決定した1938年7月15日発行の報知新聞を使用。
1938年時の日本軍の主力戦闘機でもありオリンピック返上、そして第二次大戦と繋がる世界の動きの中にいた九六式艦上戦闘機をモチーフに制作。


足立篤史　
1988年横須賀市生まれ。
2014年東京造形大学美術学科彫刻専攻卒業、東京造形大学卒業研究・卒業制作展「ZOKEI賞」受賞。

The material used is from the July 15, 1938 issue of the Hochi Shimbun newspaper, which decided to cancel the Tokyo Olympics, which were scheduled to be held in 1940.
The motif is based on the Type 96 fighter, which was the main fighter of the Japanese military in 1938 and was part of the world movement that led to the return of the Olympics and World War II.


Atsushi Adachi　
Born in Yokosuka, Japan in 1988.
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2014, majoring in sculpture, and received the “ZOKEI Prize” at the Tokyo Zokei University Graduation Research and Graduation Works Exhibition.
